No Strings Attached
The Gospel (Good News) says: Your worth is not dependent on any possession you have. Your worth is not dependent on anything you promise to do or not do. Your worth is not dependent on popularity, good looks, skills, merit badges, or even on membership in a congregation. All these things can change.
You are of worth because God created you, and that fact cannot change!
You are of worth because God loves you with no strings attached. The Gospel does not say God will love you if... It says God loves you as you are. This is the Good News!

On August 17, 2010 @ 6:30 pm the Church, Fellowship Ministry sponsored this event to benefit the Battered Womans Shelter. There was a pot luck meal of salad and sundaes. and Christmas Decorations as well as music. We had a great evening of fellowship, fun and good food and also collected lots of toiletry articles, sox, hats, gloves, scarves, gently used clothing, small blankets and afghans that we know will be appreciated at this time when the shelter's shelves are often empty. |
