Our commitment to the young people in our church is evident in all that we do. Children and youth participate in every aspect of our church as true members of our church family. Worship: Children and youth participate as acolytes and have a special children's message during the worship service. They also have seasonal opportunities to share music with us in a children's choir, and gospel gang performances. There is also childcare and activities for ages 6 months through 8 years during worship. For more information please check out our guide to children in worship. Discipleship Sunday school for all ages, confirmation classes, vacation bible school are just some of the ways we encourage our young people to grow in God. Our library is a great resource for reading at home on a wide range of topics for any age. Hospitality: No table fellowship, or camping trip would be complete without the help and laughter of our children. Church dinners are highly anticipated with our kids! While we try to exemplify a sense of community and an ethic of true welcoming for our children, we are frequently humbled by their natural hospitality. Mission: It is vital that our children and our youth have meaningful ways to participate in mission that allow them to see the true power of hands of all sizes when they work for God. We work to constantly expand mission opportunities for children and youth. To see recent examples please go to our missions page. |
